Two amazing financial executives were inducted to FEI's Hall of Fame in 2010.
Karl M. von der Heyden and Ulyesse J. LeGrange have 100 years of combined extraordinary contributions to their organizations. Mr. Von der Heyden served several companies, such as Pepsi, H.J. Heinz, and RJR Nabisco. Mr. LeGrange had an amazing 40 years at ExxonMobil.

Mr. Von der Heyden describes some very wise lessons, such as "business is a social enterprise and teamwork is extremely important. You don't always have to be the smartest guy, but you've got to be able to work with others, be collegial and curious, and then if you are successful, share that success with others".
Mr. LeGrange's key takeaway from school is that one must "learn how to learn". And he performed that exceptionally well...from his clerical experience with ExxonMobile in the 1950's to his MBAs from Wharton and Harvard to eventually the CFO of a titan oil company.
These men should be extremely proud of not only their amazing accomplishments, but as mentors to individuals they know and don't know, such as myself being the later.
